Una familia Estadounidensese aferra a la esperanza y está desesperada por respuestas sobre su ser querido que ha desaparecido en México
De 47 años de edad, James Robert Stacy desapareció en Mexico el dia 25 de enero.
Unos días después, sus cuentas bancarias fueron vaciadas en Matamoros.
Sin saber nada de su paradero , la familia Stacy teme lo peor, pero aún conserva esperanzas .
Los familiares y amigos están en busca de pistas sobre lo que pudo haber sucedido a James Stacy la noche del 25 de enero.
Iba de regreso a casa en Hopkinsville , Kentucky , después de pasar las vacaciones en la cd de México con su novia de toda la vida .
" Él había estado en Mexico muchas veces antes y manejado para visitar a su pareja. Llegó el 20 de diciembre e iba a permanecer por alrededor de un mes", dijo Liebe .
Las cosas no salieron según lo planeado.
Stacy llamó a su madre alrededor de las 7:30 de la mañana, que saldría en camino hasta las 14:00hrs esa tarde.Lo cual significaba que tendría que manejar de noche

Carlos recibió otra llamada esa noche desde el teléfono de Stacy .
El hombre del otro lado de la línea dijo ser de la Marina Armada de México .
El individuo comenzó a hacerle varias preguntas a Carlos , y le tranquilizó,le dijo que Stacy iba a estar bien y que él recibiría otra llamada.
Sin embargo , eso no sucedió.....Nunca llamaron
Los investigadores trataron de rastrear el teléfono, pero todos los intentos de contactar con Stacy no han tenido éxito .
Sin embargo,los miembros de la familia no se rinden y conservan la esperanza.
" Está vivo , pero estamos muy preocupados ,de donde pueda estar o en qué condición pudiera estar en este momento", dijo el hermano menor de James , John Stacy .
" Estamos preocupados , pero estamos esperanzados y optimistas de que vamos a ser capaces de localizarlo, encontrarlo y traerlo a casa ", dijo Liebe .

Man goes missing after visiting girlfriend in Mexico

A family clings to hope and is desperate for answers as their loved one goes missing in Mexico
47-year-old James Robert Stacy has been missing in Mexico since January 25th.A few days later, his bank accounts were emptied out in Matamoros.
With no word on his whereabouts, the Stacy family is fearing the worst, but still hoping for the best.
"Today is the 26th day anyone has heard from James Robert Stacy," explained private investigator Rich Liebe.
Family and friends are searching for clues as to what may have happened to James Stacy the night of January 25th.
He was on his way home to Hopkinsville, Kentucky after spending the holidays in Mexico with his longtime girlfriend.
"He had been there several times before and driven several times to visit his girlfriend. This particular time, he got there on December 20th and expected to be there for about one month," said Liebe.
Things didn’t go according to plan.
Stacy called his mother around 7:30 that morning, but didn't leave until 2p.m. that afternoon.
Investigator Liebe said that meant Stacy would have to drive through the night.
Liebe told Action 4 News, Stacy made a frantic call to a friend Carlos while in Cuidad Victoria.
"He says, ‘I'm being followed by two white trucks with armed men and I'm scared. I don’t know what to do.’ The next thing Carlos heard was a gunshot," said Liebe.
Carlos got another call that night from Stacy's phone.
The man on the other line had claimed to be with the Mexican Navy.
He began asking Carlos several questions, and reassured him Stacy would be okay and that he’d be getting another call back.
However, that did not happen.
Investigators tried tracking the phone, but all attempts to contact Stacy have been unsuccessful.
Still, family members are not giving up hope.
"He's alive, but we're very concerned where he may be or what condition he might be in right now," said James’s younger brother, John Stacy.
"We have concerns, but we're hopeful and optimistic that we will be able to locate, find him, and bring him home," agreed Liebe.
